    The Decay

    Decay is an essential path to blooming. The foundations of a resolve paved with fractures is far more beautiful than that of an easy, carefree one.

    An illustration I did for Motherland Chronicles. It was such a great pleasure and honor to be part of this wonderful project ; w ;

    This illustration really means a lot to me. It was inspired and fuelled by a lot of mixed emotions and hardships I’ve encountered through the years. A tribute for what we gain by what we lose. I am really grateful to be given the chance to work on something very personal!

    I hope you guys like it too~

    Motherland Chronicles #47 - Womb

    I kept thinking about the legends of Nu Wa when working on this piece. It was one of the first stories of creation I read as a child, the flowers reminded me of the five-colored stones she used to mend the heavens.

    Hey! Do you offer prints of your work? If not, do you sell originals?

    We’re working on the prints stuff alongside the book, trying to roll them out around the same time for release together. Targeting for summer!

    This has probably already been asked, but when is your kickstarter project launching? Bevause I would love to back your awesome project!

    Asked by vlierbes

    We are focusing on finishing up all the images right now. Just 3 left! (Actually 2 for Tobias) Then we’ll start on selecting images/layout/estimating costs and all that good stuff. So in the next 2 months or so we hope!

    How many pages or pictures will contain the artbook ? I'm excited :)

    Asked by ahemka

    We were looking at 180 pages originally, but I think we’ll have quite a bit more than that! Will have to make selections once we finish all the images. Just 3 more!
